Hope you are well.

When Jo first shared pictures of your place, and told me about your Riyadh it came across as a beautiful holiday destination – one that I put on my ‘list’ of places to one day visit.

When the opportunity came for us to spend time there for my birthday I felt …. ‘okay’.  Little did I know what to expect.

Driving down the bumpy road to the gates, I felt my heart beat faster with the anticipation of what lay beyond.

My anticipation was small, compared to what I experienced as the gates opened and I caught my first glimpse of your home – CASA TAOS – I was simply captivated.

Mohammed meeting us at the car and taking us to our suite was great. Our terrace suite Frida was STUNNING and immediately ‘felt like home’. The freshness of each meal, the personalised waiting service we got from Hing and Mohammed, plus the kitchen and cleaning staff was all truly special and greacuouly appreciated.

Hicham your welcome on that first day, plus the relaxed guest registration was again refreshing – and really helped us settle into the the beauty and tranquility that was Casa Taos.

Meeting you Karima, later on was again really great. It was nice having your family seat just across from us at dinner time – it again brought a ‘homely’ feeling about the venue and the trip.

I have been fortunate to travel to a number of countries and stay in a few good hotels –  but memories of my time in Casa Taos stand out as being –  relaxed,  homely, welcoming and refreshing!!!

The peace and tranquility of the grounds … the vast and beautiful gardens …. the deliciously and freshly made meals … the fruit trees …. possibly the calmest dogs i have ever seen …. the personalised service from Hing and Mohammed…. lounging by the pool …. the hammocks in the trees ….. ☺️ …… I could go on and on. But doing so just makes wanna buy a plane ticket and fly out again. Simply put, I have already recommended your place to family and friends and would definitely love to return sooner rather than later.

On a final note, though the circumstances were scary, I am grateful to God that you were both there and able to assist me following the nut allergy.  I do not have enough ways to say it but THANK YOU, MERCI and GRACIAS. Please extend my appreciation to your Doctor and his team for their help.
